Mack Grace SM's win in Gran Premio della Lotteria cleared a ticket to Elitloppet.
The Italian stallion Mack Grace SM went wire-to-wire in the top race Gran Premio della Lotteria last Sunday to claim the victory and earn a ticket to Elitloppet.
The six-year-old is trained by Lucio Colleti and will be driven by Roberto Andreghetti at Solvalla.
Solvalla's General Manager and Elitloppet director, Tore Fyrand, about the horse:
”Mack Grace SM showed last Sunday that he is capable of racing two heats on the same day and win a finale. He almost won the Lotteria last year but got boxed in the final after winning his qualification race easily.We are pleased with our choice. The horse is fast off the gate and both the trainer and the driver belong the best in Italy,” said Tore Fyrand.
Driver Roberto Andreghetti got the question about Elitloppet after winning the Lotteria and said:
”It would be a dream to be in Elitloppet."
