While a race horse normally takes part in around 15 races per year, it is not uncommon for a driver to notch up 1000-2000 starts in the same time. A normal race night can mean 6-10 chances for a driver to fihgt for first place. Clearly, being at the top of the game requires a combination of endurance, dedication and skill. Listed on the left are some of the leading names among Swedish trotting drivers.
