Drove Red Hot Dynamite to victory in Swedish Travkriterium and Breeders’ Crown in 2009. Has also won Criterium Continental in 1994, Olympiatravet 2001, Derby d'U.E.T 2004, Swedish Derby 2008 and Oslo Grand Prix 2010. Kontio has also managed to win Gran Premio delle Nazioni twice, 2003 & 2008.
